Are FRER reliable now days?

So Iv been hearing bad things about first response early result lately. Been reading negative comments just today infact. Was wondering how can you tell the difference between a True Positive and a False Positive?

Everyone this morning told me it was positive but now I really can’t tell and what’s worse and is when I relook at the test now the lines have faded quite a bit you can’t even see them anymore. So where they just indents? Or BFP

I used some that had an indent in it and it looked positive (within time frame) when I use it but turned out it was really negative.. I dont trust them anymore because they get my Hope's up.

A test should only be read within its time frame not hours later. It’s also best to retest every couple days with first morning urine

They are the only tests I use and have already been accurate for me. Never had any issues but I also don’t squint and force myself to see lines. I wait until my period is missed and either it’s there or it’s not. Also, some people see the line but it’s not pink yet and they still say it’s positive when it’s most likely an indent.  I believe most of the time it’s human error.
