Skipping periods

I only had sex one time (unprotected) before my period was supposed to come but he didn’t come so there’s no change of a pregnancy scare right? My period is late and I just want it to come already so i can stop stressing lol...is there any reason my period would be late? I’ve had late periods before but I’m stressing now that I’m actually having sex again. I’m having light cramping as if I’m starting soon but it hasn’t come yet
