What else do you have to get for baby?!

Please tell me I'm not the only one that still has to get major items. What I really need to buy is a car seat and bassinet other then that I should be good. Everything else is just little things but its giving me anxiety because I dont have too much time lol. Any one else feel behind?

Lol I havent bought ANYTHING. A lot of people have given us stuff already! We also have a nephew who we are getting a lot of clothes from. Im waiting till my baby shower at the beginning on January then I will focus more on what I will need to buy.

I bought her some really cute summer outfits on clearance and love to buy things off season. Otherwise I have all of her cloth diapers stashed, most from my son but a few new additions bought used. Then I have a dresser that I acquired when my grandmother passed, it’s cream with gold trim and will match the fairy theme. All I really need to buy is a round crib in lavender or pink I think and then a new car seat for my son since he’s 18 months she’ll take his over. I’m pretty covered otherwise! What she’ll bathe in, be changed on, most of her clothes all hand me downs (I went gender neutral on most of my son’s outfits for this reason). I have baby wearers so I’m going to avoid the double stroller. Boobs are attached to me for feeding so I might just get a set of glass bottles otherwise 😂 but we move end of January and husband deploys February for a year. I might get little baby swaddles that are going to be more personal and feminine. Since I have the basics I get to buy only the things I actually really like and will be her keepsakes.

We just started working on the baby’s room. Motivating my husband took a lot of time. Like a month of convincing him he was running out of time. He just started this weekend. We just ordered our furniture, which he insisted was Amish quality so that will take 10 weeks to get here.... yea, End of February!! 😬 
I went ahead and bought a stroller/ car seat travel system because it was on sale on Black Friday! Did it without husband and said I’d return it if he hated it. We kept it. Lol! I bought a Dutailier Glider on recommendation from a family member. Still have to put together.
All other items I am waiting for my two showers. End of Jan and End of Feb. 
Due March 31. He better not come early!!! This is my first too so I have no baby stuff!

Here’s my clutter corner while room is under construction!

Notice no base or chair rail. He still has to caulk seams and corners, trim top and bottom, caulk those and paint!! He has a ton of work to do! Included the private bathroom and closet! 😩

My mom bought a travel system so car seat and stroller in one, my grandmother is coming in to town and getting us the crib, changing table and dresser but we technically don’t have that yet. 
   But I still need a pack and play, a bassinet, the breast pump (ordering that today through insurance), a swing, the bumbo seat, the diaper pails, crib sheets, changing pad sheets,I’m ordering those foam carpet puzzle pieces to make a little baby area in the living room/dining room, still need more than samples of diapers but struggling to figure out which brand I wanna go with. I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot of other things I can’t think of right now.
   Still have a lot of things to get but at least the nursery is painted though we have to get a new door because the house has been settling even more since we moved in almost two years ago and now hangs weird. It’ll all come with time I keep telling myself that the baby shower will solve a lot of the missing things.

We haven’t bought anything so all we really have right now is clothes, a few bottles, and some books. We’re waiting for the shower at the end of january to start shopping for whatever else we need

Haven’t bought much at all yet. Our baby showers are in the first 2 weeks of Feb, and I’m due at the very end of March. So I’ll have a few weeks at least to get all of the things we don’t get at the shower:) I wouldn’t sweat it too much yet!
