My 5 week old cries every time he is out down. He wants to constantly be held or he screams at the top of his lungs. Anyone else?

My son has his days but when he was younger it was hard. If you have a shirt when you put him down put it next to him or cover him with it. Be might wanting your comfort

Is he flat on his back or at an incline? If flat, maybe it's just acid reflux and it hurts and that's why he cries. Try an inclined position instead. If you've tried an inclined position then it may be a phase. Some babies are clingier than others. They eventually get better at it

What comforts does he have? Where does he sleep? Does he have a pacifier?

This is normal for the fourth trimester; and fussiness/crying usually peaks at 6 weeks. Hang in there. It WILL get better. Get help if you can!

Yup that's normal but if it just started it could indicate an ear infection. If it did I would call your pediatrician to be safe. Otherwise just jeep trying, eventually it will work and baby will adjust.
