Last night I made an impulse decision to change my stud to a nose ring, for one because I was tired of wearing a bandaid over my stud to make sure it stays in during the night because it has fell out before about 3 times since having it, and two, because I originally wanted a hoop ever since getting it pierced. This hoop was a 20 g compared to my original stud of 18 g so I figured it would be fine to downsize one g. Anyways it hurt so bad switching this jewelry and trying to bend the hoop back and tighten it. It took about an hour to put it in all together and I still don’t have the hoop tightened where it should be like touching the fixed ball on the hoop. I’m going to be honest and say I got this hoop from Claire’s and it is stainless steel. So my question is do you think this is fine to keep in my nose?? I don’t plan on taking it out any time soon despite me not being very fond of it. It seems a little too big and weirdly shaped in my nose. Also if I accidentally sleep on it should it drag my hole down?? I got my nose pierced in July so I’m not sure why it’s still hurting that back when switching jewelry. Will it hurt like this forever when changing jewelry?? When putting in the hoop I still feel like I had to force it somewhat through to get it back in. I just hope I did not mess up my pricing because of this impulse decision haha.

It looks like I’m mean mugging haha but this is what my irritated piercing looks like now. The hoop is pretty big like I said and I thought I wouldn’t have enough room. I’ll post another picture showing more angles because I know nothing about hoops and want to make sure this is fine before I keep it in.
