Fixed term employment and pregnant

I hope you girls can give me some advice about my working situation connected to being pregnant.

I’m employed on the basis of an employment agreement for a definite time until June 2020. My - obligated and paid by the gouvernment - leave will be from April up to and including July.

Would you ask before the start of the leave whether the company is planning to extent the contract?

Also, one of the partners of the firm I work for just found out that I’m pregnant during the annual Christmas dinner and told me that thats good timing given that my contract ends not much later than my leave starts - implying she is not planning to offer an extension. This is not her call (I think she may have some say in it though). This is considered discrimination in my country. Would you act upon this remark?

Thank you ladies!
