Do we really need a changing table?

Okay ladies, I’m a FTM, so I’m not sure how often or if we’ll even use the changing table we have. Our baby girls room is slightly on the small side, I’m considering turning this cabinet thing I have into a closet/changing table area that way less space taken up. But if other moms don’t use a changing table as much I might just completely make it a closet. I’ll have a pack n play in our room for first few months of her life which has a changing area on it, could I just use that when needed and turn the cabinet thing into strictly closet or is a changing table a life saver?

Here is a picture of the cabinet thing, it’s over 6fert high & yes it needs TLC either way.😅
