From 1 to 2 kids. Did your 1st get jealous?

That’s my biggest fear. I don’t want my 1st born feeling left out. 
(Obviously I know to include him so I don’t need a million comments saying that.)

The only jealousy my son had was if I 'hogged' the baby! He was so adorable if he felt like he hadnt gotten enough time with her hed come steal her right out of my arms. He was just barely 2 when we had my daughter and they've been bffs since the day she was born

Not even a little bit. Everyone said he would. I said, "Nope. You're wrong. I know my son." To which they'd say, "Mhm, we'll see." 
My boys are 21 months apart. My first was not even slightly jealous. He was stoked to have a baby around. He liked rubbing his brother's back while I breastfed. And "stuffing" his cloth diapers. I mean he kind of sucked at it, but he tried! I'd just restuff them when he wasn't looking. He'd yell at me when the baby cried and I didn't respond immediately because I was in the middle of something. He was all in all, very happy to have his brother around. And they always got along so very well. 
Now at 3 years old and 15 months old, they have started fighting like cats and dogs over toys. But other than that, it's been great. I'm even expecting a third and will have the same age difference between my second and third as my first and second.

My first born was in love with our baby she was like 16 months but the only jealousy that went on was with her dad she wanted all her dads attention lol and her dad to her self even from me I was like well okay lol

My first and second are 7 years apart, so my first was the only child for 7 years. It was a big change from going from having mom to himself to sharing. He acting out about the 3rd one coming because he feels like he’s getting less time with me and his step dad

I currently have 4 kids and due with twins. My oldest is 11 and had major jealousy issues when her brother now 8 was birn but my situation is little dofferent she was born with 3 heart defects and organ defect and since birth had everyones attention. Mine her dads grandparents nurses doctors therapist plus her mental age is lower then her actual age so we have beahvioral issues with her at times.... my 8yr old has my two sons 5 n 2 yr old and has three sisters at his dads and is the most amazing big brother ever. Never really jealous always helpful and protective. My 5yr old however is my husbands first child, and he spoiled him (he paid attention to my other two children too dont get me wrong he loves them as his own) but my 5yr old got use to the attention so when our 2 yr old was born there was jealousy but not horriblly jealous just typical sibling jealous and my 2yr old will be same with the twins. He use to being the baby and he knows it and gets jealous of his 5yr old brother. I think jealousy is natural between siblings and you just got to make sure to pay attention to both and get the older sibling involved in care for little one and also take time to take older out for ice cream or whatever they like alone while other parent watches baby. It will all be ok momma.
