Any ideas?!
My daughter has always been a good sleeper...then that stupid 9 month sleep regression hit and she’s waking up every few hours for the past 3+ weeks. She’s slept in her room in her crib since night one but all of a sudden she absolutely refuses to sleep there and only wants to sleep in the bed with us. Part of the problem is she stands up in her crib when she wakes up and once that happens she won’t self soothe at all...she just stands there crying so hard she starts hyperventilating.
She refuses pacifiers, doesn’t like blankets and won’t take stuffed animals or something cuddly like that. So what I need help with is how do I get her to self soothe if her way of self soothing is waiting for one of us to come in to get her?
I’ve tried the whole not pick her up thing and to be honest that just makes it worse. I just don’t know what to do...both my husband and I are wearing thin.
