If you're gonna breastfeed you'll want to let that hole close up cause it seems like it wouldnt be good to have a baby sucking on it with a hold in it that big.

You are going to get really tired of taking them in and out every couple hours. And they could get very aggravated because of doing that and breastfeeding. So my advice would be to go ahead and take them out completely.

U have to disinfect them every single time u take them in and out for nursing sessions. Idk if Uve ever breastfed before but nursing sessions can be very very frequent the first several months(especially if baby experiences cluster feedings they could be latched in for literally hours, or wanting to nurse every 45minutes) And u will already be stressed out so that’s just going to add another thing that’s going to cause stress.

I’m planning on taking them out next month, I’ll be 4 months, mine will literally close in like a week probably. Took them out for 24 hours last year for surgery and barely got them back in.

i ended up taking mine out and didnt breastfeed, still got engorged and leaky all over. i never out them back in. didnt really miss them that much
