Starting prednisone, scheduled c-section

I have ITP, and my platelets are continuously getting lower. Tomorrow I’m starting on prednisone to try to get them up. If it doesn’t work, I’ll need to do a few rounds of IVIG. Iron is on the low side too so might need to do a transfusion. Anyone here going through something similar?

Baby is also breech, and because of the ITP they don’t know if babies platelets will be low as well, so they’re being extra cautious and won’t make any attempts to move the baby. Because of that I have a scheduled c-section for 39 weeks (currently 35 and 3). I’ve always thought a c-section was a possibility but now that I have one scheduled I’m so nervous!
