Having young siblings at the hospital?

I'm doing a unmediated birth and I was wondering if any other moms will have the older siblings in the room with them? 
Her older brother will be 2 and I can decide if him being in the room with us (husband and I) during delivery will be a good idea.

My mom had me in the room when my sister was born. I was 6 years old. I wasn't traumatized, just curious! I thought it was the coolest thing to see a new baby being born.  The only thing I'll say is to check with the hospital on their policy regarding small children being there. Some places allow it, some don't.

I want my son to be in the room and he will b 2yrs 9 months old wen i give birth, i don't want him looking straight at my vagina when i do have baby girl but i want him to b on daddy lap or on the side of the bed where he cant see whats going on down there, im sure he will just think i pooped out a baby once he does see her lol plus i dont want to come home and have him wonder where baby sister came from lol i dont want to confuse him lol

Definitely not something they need to see. Too young to understand what's going on. I couldn't see many hospitals being okay with a child that young there either. Too many risks. My niece saw her brother born and she was around 12 and she I think was a little traumatized even.

My 6 year old will be at school or with my bestie depending on the time of day. I don't really want anyone in the delivery room that doesn't need to be. She'd just be bored in the waiting room. We've talked about it and she doesn't want to be at the hospital either. We'd both rather her come after.

I can't imagine most hospitals letting them be in the room. I would think that would be too traumatic for them anyway.

My 7 year old will be in the waiting/family area with his grandma's and some other family he won't be in room but we want him there for it

I'm having my 3 year old stay with his babysitter while I'm in labor. He doesn't do well with me in pain. He doesn't understand it's a good pain and mommy is okay.
