Cora arrived today! (Pic overload)

So now that everything is calm, lol. Cora Adelynn weighed 5lbs. 6.oz and was 18 1/2 in. long! She came December 16th and 1.15pm.

So my real labor contractions started around 6.30 yesterday morning. But I didn't realize they were even contractions. They just felt like some good period cramps with a backache. And I was still having my Braxton Hicks too. But I ended up feeling like something might of been up because I threw up that morning out of nowhere. Which is weird for me. And I ended up taking like two naps. So my cramping and backache started to get more intense so I tried taking a bath to help it out a little by 7. Around 8.30 I was finally convinced to call my ob just to ask her if it's normal, which I didn't even wanna do. I just wanted to go to sleep so bad. And she had me go in the hospital. And THANK GOD I did. Oh my God. Seriously back labor isn't a joke. I was DYING. And because I had taken my heparin already I couldn't get the epidural for another 5 hours. So I ended up getting it around 5.30. And oh my, I'm so happy I did. Lol. So it takes forever to get me dilated all the way after I got the epidural. I think I got it around 6 or 7 cm dilated. Then it took me a few hours to get from 7 to 10. And oh my God. The pressure that ended up coming with that was a new pain all its own. Lol. I ended up literally having to keep my body from naturally wanting to start to push on its own till my doctor got there. And when she did get there, she literally had me pushing for 10 minutes and she was out. Which is INSANE. Like wow. Lol. And the burning that came with that was nuts. I felt that even with the epidural 😅 but after weeks of early labor and over 24 hours of real labor and pain, I seriously wouldn't change it for the world. I love her so much. And my fiance was the best and so was his sister.
