Anti-vaccination and anti-flu? Are you against them or are you for them? If you are against them, why? If you are for them why?

I am not trying to start anything but I am just curious as to why some parents do not get their kids vaccinated or flu shot and why some parents do vaccinate and get their LO flu shots. I am getting judged because I had my daughter vaccinated and was told the shots could kill her and was sent numerous articles from a few friends who are against vaccinations and the flu shot showing the high number of deaths from getting them. I just always thought it was something we had to get done and I dont want anything to happen to my LO.  She has been fine after having her vaccinations and I am thinking that we will have her get her flu shot, but i am just a little nervous with everything they sent me about all these babies who have died from getting vaccinations and flu shots.

I'm sure we could research each vaccine all day for days on end and read so many horror stories about them. I look at it this way, and this my opinion only. Before certain vaccines were made, thousands of people were dying from flu, pneumonia, fevers, pox, you name it. Since they have came up with these vaccines, we cant even begin to count how many people have bypassed suffering from those illnesses and now lived to be in their 80's or 90's whereas before, they were dying in their 20's or 30's bc their was no medicine to help them fight the virus. Also, there are kids now who are of age and scared for their life bc their parents didnt get them vaccinated as a child and are getting theirs shots once they are 18. I was vaccinated as a child, yes you can still get sick as a child but I highly doubt it's going to be from yellow fever or something like that. This is just an example. Vaccines are proven to prolong life and we are living longer now because of them. Again, my opinion, this is very debatable but I'd much rather take my chances with my child's life at getting vaccinated than not.

We're doing an abbreviated vaccine schedule and no flu shot. After TONS of research and reading many articles (scientific journals, articles written by medical professionals, as well as ingredient lists of the vaccines), we decided that while we believe vaccines are important, the amount of toxic additives in them is concerning. We are only doing 1-2 vaccines a month and are picking and choosing which vaccines we believe are most important...there are a few we either are delaying a few years or she will not be receiving at all. Our pediatrician is fantastic at working with us and agrees with some of our concerns. 
As for the flu shot, for my husband and I, the cons outweigh the pros (and for reference he's a nurse and I have a degree in health sciences). There's too much guesswork and there are even reports out there that show that of all the reported flu deaths each year, a very few number of them are actually the flu (most are from other undiagnosed diseases with flu symptoms). As far as I'm concerned my kid(s) will never receive a flu shot unless they agree to getting one after they turn 18 or the powers that be come up with a more acceptable less toxic one 😂

We vaccinated our daughter. Only one she hasn't got was her flu jab and that's because our HV said not to get it before 6 months and she's only just turned 6 months (on the other hand we haven't made an appointment yet)
My partner and I work at a residential care home for people with various disabilities. There is a resident there who due to having a bad reaction (Encephalitis) to a vaccine* now has permanent brain damage, so I can understand why someone would be nervous to vaccinate. Regardless, I will always vaccinate my children. I know his condition is incredibly unlikely, (almost unheard of) and I'd rather my daughter suffer a side effect from a vaccine where I knew I was doing what was in her best interest, than to possibly kill her and other vulnerable people because I was scared of the miniscule chance of something going wrong.
*the vaccine was small pox, but I could be wrong.

I honestly have not done enough research if they are really bad. I just remember my SIL was and is still against vaccinations because she did a ton of research and she was worried about my nieces getting autism from them. They never got any vaccinations and my oldest niece still got autism but they are healthy and never got any. I myself was vaccinated and I got both of my daughters vaccinated.  It does kind of freak me out because all the stuff in each vaccination and flu shots but it also really freaks me out not to have them get any vaccinations.  My husband has always been big into getting vaccinations and flu shot and I haven't been big into the flu shot. This was the first year both me and my 5 year old got it and we both ended up getting the flu but it literally only last two days, my husband didnt get his flu shot and the flu lasted two weeks. We were told in order for our oldest to start 4k she needed to have her shots but they never checked her records so I guess its up to the parents. One thing i do wonder is for people who have a autoimmune disease and cant get any shots, wont it be bad if someone who can get vaccinations and doesn't and goes around them? I would think it would make them really sick.

I’m doing a delayed vaccine schedule simply because to me I don’t trust so many shots at once when they are so young.🤷🏽‍♀️ I’ve done a lot of research on it and my pediatrician is on board.

I am for vaccines. I’m a little skeptical, I won’t lie, but I do believe they are beneficial to keeping not only our babies healthy, but our society. 
However, I will not do the flu shot simply for personal preference. I don’t believe in it’s ability to prevent the flu. There’s still too much guess-work involved and it makes me sick. 
Not one anti-vaccine article is medically sound and published by a medical agency.

My siblings and I are all vaccinated and rarely ever get sick, maybe once a year. My cousins aren't vaccinated and they get sick back to back at least once a month. I decided to vaccinate my baby from seeing that.
