Crockpot freezer meals

HELP. 😂

So i had some chicken that said “use or freeze by Dec 14” i froze it on the 15th. Smelled fine, looked fine. No big deal. I took some out yesterday at 1 to thaw and looked at it at 7 tonight and we thought it smelled funny so we threw it away.

I know i can’t put the rest directly into the crock pot bc heating it so quickly can make us sick. But if i throw it in the fridge tonight and put it in the crock pot around 10 tomorrow (so like 14 hrs in the fridge) will that be ok?

We’re sort of weirdos about chicken prep sooo. Help? 😂🙃🙈
