2 hour glucose test??

So my dr informed me that she does a 2 hour glucose test instead of the 1 hour test to begin with. Has anyone ever heard of that? I have never heard of a 2 hour test.

I've been told mine will be 2 hours, I have to starve for 12 hours have a blood test then drink that glucose drink and rest for 2 hours and have another one.

Interesting! They do a two hour measurement as part of the three hour test but I personally haven’t heard of it as the first step. Normally they just do the one hour as a screening.
