How often should I be using purple shampoo?

Question

I typically wash my hair every 4-5 days because it gets gross/greasy looking at that point. 
I’m scared of ruining my freshly highlighted hair by using purple shampoo every wash since it is so drying. So do I use it every time? Or is there a different shampoo that I should be using? 
I’ll attach photos of the products I use and my hair.

Every other wash or every few washes. You wash once a week-ish, you shouldn’t need to use it every time.

If you're only washing it once-ish a week, then I would use it every time. When I had platinum hair, I was still washing my hair every day and I used it every other day. You can always mix it with a moisturizing shampoo if you find it too drying, or use a really moisturizing conditioner after.
