What should I do? Read description please.

Let me start by saying my in laws are super manipulative people that care only about themselves. So here’s the issue, I’m going to try and make this as short and sweet as possible.

They are PISSED that we are coming to Christmas this year, (we have never not gone the 10 years my husband and I have been together.) I come from a divorced family so trying to fit 3 families in in one day when they live hours apart is getting REAL old now that we have a baby.

We decided from now on, one family per holiday. My family is totally understanding and his not at all. So I was planning on announcing that we are pregnant with baby #2 around Christmas. We are spending Christmas Day with my dad and the 28th with my mom. We tried asking if they were free any other day to celebrate and we have been completely ignored. I’m 12 weeks pregnant and want to announce already!!!

So my question is...because they basically won’t talk to us at the moment do we say screw it and announce and just send them a text/call? Or wait until we actually see them again and have NO idea when that will be because they like to hold grudges.
