3 hour glocuse test results - confused

So I failed my 1 hour glocuse test and had to tale the 3 hr test. Apparently for the 3 hour test at least 2 out of the three readings have to be "abnormal" for you to be considered to have gestational diabetes - I only had 1 abnormal result (the 3 hour one ) and the nurse let me have water in between the 2nd and 3rd testing times ....not sure of this is what affected it.

Anyway... My dr is treating it as if I have diabetes (he is calling it glocuse intolerance) and i have to test twice a week 4 times a day and go on a diabetes diet as well.

Anyone else have this happen to them?
