For the last 4 years we have used a small plastic trash can with a step activated lid with a scented liner. It was fine, but over time the plastic absorbs the stink. I loved the advantages of the ubbi, but I couldn’t justify the price. And although the munchkin/diaper genie/dekkor ones may work, they often require special liners, and will still absorb the stink. So this trash can with a thick liner works for us. We have a 4yr old still in diapers (not interested in potty training 😩), and one more coming in about 8 -10 weeks.
