Son is too attached

Don’t get me wrong I love that my 6 months old is attached and that’s his way to show love and comfort.

But he’s becoming really attached to the point when i let him sit on the floor to crawl and play with his toys, he crawls to me and leaves his toys so i can hold and play with him. He always leave whatever he’s doing just so he can come to me and let me hold him.

I want us to stay connected and close but at the same time i want him to learn to play by himself or crawl without coming straight to me all the time.

He used to be able to sleep by himself and now he just want me to hold him until he falls asleep

Is there anything i can do? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks mommas!
