Thinking in the moment

I kinda have a dilemma a close friend and I were talking the other day and we've been wanting to go on a trip just like a quick weekend trip to Florida and universal studios she was showing me the deals that she found which arent bad so I kinda agreed to it but now coming home and telling my boyfriend about it which what hes saying makes a lot of sense he doesn't think it will be a good idea just being that once our lease is up were going to be looking to buy a house and plus during income tax time I'm thinking about trading my car in. So she wants to plan the trip Feb 28th our lease is up July 30th and also my daughters first birthday is January 17th and I want to get a new car in Feb after income tax. Now that I've laid everything out I think I'm in way to over my head but my issue is how am I suppsed to tell her that we dont want to go we haven't purchased any tickets to anything but her feelings also get hurt really easily I need help. lol sorry for the long post
