Positive OPK / didn’t BD before

So hubs and I were set to BD (21st). I took an opk and it was negative but thought it’d be good so that sperm could be there waiting

We weren’t able to BD because holiday party. This morning I took opk and got a positive. We hurried and BD’d. But I’m wondering if it’ll be “too late” as we didn’t have sperm “waiting”. I know O is usually 12-36hrs after a positive - but I still feel like we missed our shot

Anyone get pregnant by just having sex after positive opk??
