I got my Paragard IUD about 3 months ago and since my periods have been heavier and more painful which I know is normal. Previously I was very blessed to have easy, light to medium flow and little to no cramps.

Last night, the 2nd day of my period, I had severe vaginal pain. I'm talking crying, cringing, unable to move pain. It was almost as if my cervix was being stabbed repeatedly every 5-10 mins. I had little to no actaul flow happening at the time. I didn't feel like there was any actaul cramps either, although the whole thing made my entire lower body ache and almost burn.

Has anyone else experienced this with or without an IUD. Even the insertion and cramps afterwards were not like this.
