When did you go into labor with your first?

How far along were you with your first, when you went into labor? Sunday marked 36 weeks for us. I’m nervous to go too far from home (the city with all the shopping and entertainment is an hour from us, and also an hour from where I want to deliver) but a lot of ppl have told me for my first I’ll most likely go the full 40 weeks, and shouldn’t worry about going out. Still makes me feel better to just be close to home, but wondering when most ppl delivered their first?

My water started leaking at exactly 38 weeks & had to be induced because I had group B Strep.

41 weeks I got induced! Was induced in the morning and 9 hours later he was born! 🤪

I went into labour at exactly 40 weeks, but that's not common. Most people I know got induced with their first because they went to 42 weeks.

An hour drive is fine. You’ll be in labor for hours.

40 weeks 2 days and had to get a membrane sweep

Within an hour it’s fine. If you’re water breaks or you have contractions start you have time to get where u need to. With my 1st I went at 40+ and water broke in middle of the night. We had time to shower grab a quick snack and head in.
