i hate it because i always feel like no matter what i shouldn’t receive a gift, like now i owe them even if i got them something. 
it gives me anxiety, driving, seeing family, everything! 
i wish i wasn’t such a grinch!

I always hate when someone gets me a present for Christmas. Just adds another person I have to buy for. I always act gratefully, of course I don't want to ruin it for them or seem like a bitch... But in the back of my mind I'm screaming "WHYYYY!????"
I have enough kids to buy for. Don't add adults. 🤦‍♀️😂

Ya the stress is killer. I had a panic attack Xmas Eve night, I hosted my family at my home because my mom for some reason can never do shit. So all the cooking, wrapping, mess, noise, I had to excuse myself with my daughter for almost an hour to calm down ...😭

I used to get so stressed about Christmas. My husband is part of a divorced family, so his family would hog Christmas to the point where they would have like 4-5 different parties. I always claimed Christmas eve, because that is the only time of the year where my dad's side would all get together. His family tried to guilt us out of that too. It was just too much. Now that people are dying on both sides and the traditions we have held onto are beginning to fade, I would give anything for the chaos again. I don't think people realize how important people and things are until they are gone. Its just a few days every year. Stop looking at all the stress and inconvenience and try looking at all the good that comes from it. You may miss some of these people when they are gone. Just my 2 cents.🤷‍♀️

I used to really love Christmas but this past year I found out my pregnancy was ectopic a few days before Christmas and it just ruined it for me. Along with New Years.

Nope. You're not alone. Christmas stresses me out. You're forced to spend time with extended family you can't stand listening to them fight & bicker with each other, you're forced to spend money you don't have. Christmas music in every station... blah! Whole thing stresses me out....Only bonus is the good food.
