Anyone familiar with cervix checks??

Hey guys! New to the community and blessed there is so much support! TTC with my hubby of 7 years and so excited! Im on CD29 now and have been cramping since my positive opk on CD17. Now the cramping has changed to period type cramps today with lotion (tmi) CM. Period is due in 3 days. Negative hpt and now my cervix is slightly open. Bad news??

If your cervix is open that means af is coming. I thought i was pregnant last month until i felt my cervix open about 2 days before i started. The cervix should stay tightly shut after ovulation if you are preggo.

Honestly, cervical checks can be tricky and vary women to women. I would just wait and test. Last period it was high and soft but I started my period. And this time it's low and hard and I'm waiting for my period. It's never a definite finding.

Anyone familiar with cervix checks??
