My poor aunt
Her today was her baby shower and her water broke this morning. Needless to say the shower was canceled and she was rushed to the hospital because unfortunately she's only 32 weeks.
They couldn't get the labor to stop and since her water is broken they have deemed to best to just have the little guy prematurely, it was either that or had the labor stopped they would have had to be hospitalized for the next month until it was safe to induce (or allow to labor to start again)
I was going to announce soon but with all this hoopla I've decided to wait until 14 weeks. I feel bad for her but I'm glad this isn't happening any sooner. Still, it's nerve wracking.
Anyone had a 32 week premie?
How's their health? Did everything go okay? How long is the NICU stay? Will that be mandatory?
