Progenity Test - Can it confirm sex

I had the Progenity test on Friday and was under the impression that the blood results would tell us the sex of our baby. My husband asked the doctor for confirmation and she said "oh, no. That's not this test." But I googled Progenity test and it clearly states, "this test will also tell you the sex of your baby, if you want to know." Anyone have this test done and was the sex confirmed? I'm just confused...
