okay so i need to vent. but i’m going to use fake names 🤷🏻‍♀️

okay so i work at a factory and there’s 2 shifts. first and second. second shift comes in 30 minutes before first gets off so our staff overlaps for a bit. well when i first started there was a girl (we will call her iris) was super nice to me and she was talking about her kids. she told me she has twins, a boy and a girl and showed me pictures. at the time they were about 8-9 months. super cute babies! so this girl (we’ll call her beth) told me i should stay away from iris because there’s something off about her. after a couple weeks beth ask if i knew about iris’ twins and i said yes. she told me they aren’t real. like iris made them up and those aren’t her kids. i thought that was a little weird but okay just kind of forgot about it.

fast forward to 2 months ago and i find out i’m pregnant. there was another girl who is pregnant at my work who has just started at the time (we will call her anna). anna is iris’ cousin. iris comes to us and tells us she’s pregnant and having a boy and she’s due in march. everything was going fine. iris would run to the bathroom and tell us how sick she’s been and she would miss a lot of work because of it.

yesterday iris comes into work and we start talking about pregnancy. she asks me how i’m doing and feeling and whatnot. and i ask her the same thing. with ZERO expression on her face she told me she lost the baby. i instantly feel shitty because i had no idea. she starts telling me details about everything and whatever and NOTHING is adding up. so i talk to anna who’s her cousin and would know the answers to my questions.

TURNS OUT she was LYING about the pregnancy the whole time. she was going to use her other cousins baby pictures because SHES due in march and actually having a baby. SHES the TRUE mother of the twins but iris took pictures and was telling everyone she had those babies and that she was pregnant. iris is a bigger girl so it’s hard to tell if she was actually pregnant or not. but she FAKED A PREGNANCY AND MISCARRIAGE!!!! and i just don’t know what to say like i don’t wanna tell her i know everything but i don’t want to speak to her because she’s a shitty person with a fuck ton of problems. but yeah thanks for reading this far if you have!
