I know people ask this all the time but how did labor start for you? Each story is unique because nobody has the same body. All positive and negative story’s are welcome.

Water broke while having sex!

I woke up in the middle of the night with diarrhea 😅 Later I realized I had contractions as well.. 😊
I went pretry fast. Over a few hour in the morning I felt worse and when I got to the hospital I was 8 cm open.

41w and 5 days. Induction was scheduled for 41w and 6 days. Husband told me to roll over in bed and I felt a pinch, I thought I just had to pee, bent over and felt a gush... my water def broke. (3am) 
We spent the day cleaning and organizing and had sex... it was a great day LOL. 
They admitted me, didn’t even have to check to see if my water broke, I was leaking all over. 
24 hours later, I begged for an epidural at 9.5cms I couldn’t handle the pain any more. They let me sleep and had me push a few hours later. 33 hours in all, 1 hour pushing came my 9lb bby! Had two stitches, and I did end up hemorrhaging. Had a killer spinal headache for about a week after wards which made bonding with baby and recovery extremely hard. I had a blood patch that failed and was forced to just suffer in bed with baby. Once I felt better and could stand, it’s been smooth sailing ever since. 
Giving birth is a trip... holding your baby for the first time is something you can’t even put into words. It’s such an awesome experience. I don’t have it in me to do it again though 🤣!!!

Baby #1: I was induced at 39 week. Pitocin started my labor. 
Baby #2: Had a little bloody show on Thursday night. Had a few cramps Friday. Lost the rest of my plug Friday night. Contractions started getting bad Saturday. Got the er at 5:30 Saturday night. Baby girl was born Sunday morning at 4:38am.

I had preeclampsia that was ignored by my doctor I was seeing on base. Until it was bad enough my blood pressure was almost in the 200’s over 90’s. And had to be induced at 37 weeks.

My waters broke while I was asleep at 39w3d.. only had minor contractions starting about 3-4hrs later and then had a c-section for a beeech bub.

I was 41w2d and I was soooo exhausted and hungry that day. Dreaming of going to sleep right after eating dinner. My water broke with a small splash in my leggings after three bites 😅 I was like “dammit, I was hungry!!!”

I had been cramping on and off for about 2 weeks. The cramping episodes were getting worse but I was in denial lol. I didn’t believe they had been contractions until a cervix check. Then my water broke at home two days later and I went to the hospital.
