When do cervical checks start??

I’m currently 26+1 with my first baby and my next appointment is the glucose test, but I was wondering if any of y’all could tell me when cervical checks start? It’s silly but I’m kind of nervous for them and I want to be mentally prepared. So far all of my appointments have been just check ups with the heart rate Doppler and asking questions etc. When did you start to have physical exams? Thanks in advance!

I’ve had 3 babies and I’ve only been checked at a prenatal visit with 2 of them and with my last son I actually asked the dr if she could check me. A lot of dr’s don’t do it and it doesn’t really mean anything either. I was 3cm with my first for weeks!

Normally not until 32 weeks in most cases. But most doctors no longer do them unless requested since it's not really necessary.
