Should I do a baby shower? *read before voting!*

Ok. I’ve had a pretty busy past few years. All of these events have invited people who I’ve all been closer to and they all bring gifts. Of course I don’t ask or expect them to, but they just do. I feel bad & don’t want people to think that I’m asking for gifts. 
2016 - Bridal Shower
2017 - Wedding
2018 - Baby Shower for my 1st
2019 - Sons 1st Birthday Party
2020 - Having twins and debating on if another baby shower is too much after all of this. 
Thinking about maybe just a diaper raffle, but I’d love to celebrate the babies with a big shower too!

You typically don't do baby showers for each pregnancy...especially with all of that so close together, I, personally, think it's in bad taste. Especially when you have a baby who is young enough that you'd theoretically still have a lot of the essentials that you need for a new baby.

I know every baby should be celebrated but I wouldn't do a full on baby shower personally. Maybe a sip and see when the twins arrive and are like a month old?

You can do an event to celebrate, and especially ask for no gifts but your friends company.

If you want a baby shower then have a baby shower! It is fine to want to celebrate each pregnancy. If you are worried about the gift situation then specify no gifts. You could also make the event quite low key. Just don’t miss out if it is what you want, I am sure people would love to come and celebrate with you even for just a couple of hours x

I’d maybe have a little something after the babies are here, so people can meet them? I wouldn’t label it as a baby shower though and wouldn’t mention anything about gifts. If people want to bring a gift then that is their choice.

Just a thought but I don't think birthday parties should count. They are once a year thing everything else is a once to a couple times a life time. I'd do a shower if you want one especially since you will need double with twins.
