Any mamas here around 3 days PP? Looking for advice on breast feeding

My baby was born on the 25th , right now he tries to feed about every hour so it’s making me think I might not be producing enough I tried pumping and could only get 1 oz combined. Any advice would be helpful. He is getting around 4 poopy diapers a day

This is actually a good thing! :) the clutter feeding will help bring your milk in. Babies bellies are so so small in the beginning. They don’t need a lot to fill up, but also end up emptying quicker. It will get easier. First two weeks are the hardest.

I’m at 4 days op (born on Christmas Eve!) and my baby is doing the every hour feed too. My midwife says this is normal because they are catching up from before our milk came in. She said the feedings would likely space out in the next few days!

I am absolutely no BFing expert, but here has been my experience thus far.   I am constantly worried he’s not getting enough.
At 3 days PP, I was still producing colostrum.  I was still admitted (C-section) and he had mild jaundice (no phototherapy), so they had me pump after he ate and I made about half an ounce between both breasts, which they said was good.  He had a normal amount of weight loss before we left and has had two pediatrician check ups for jaundice and weight gain, where he’s improved and was gaining weight by 5 days old.  I’m now 7 days PP and still only get 1 ounce if I pump after he feeds, which I only do a few times a day and feed back to him maybe once to twice a day if I feel empty and he wants more.
