Attending a baby shower post miscarriage

Any advice? We miscarried after getting pregnant two months after our wedding in July. Our due date would have been in May. It’s still fresh and hurts, and no luck getting pregnant still. This is a dear friend from preschool who flew in from out of town for her baby shower. I would dip out if it was a local friend, bc I would be able to see her in person... ugh. Anyone have words of wisdom here? The baby shower is tomorrow, and I’m not looking forward to it.
