My baby is almost 5 months old and he's really congested right now. At night when he sleeps he snores and sounds pretty stuffed up. He has actually woke himself up from the congestion and has abruptly started coughing. I worry about his breathing and that he isn't getting enough oxygen. I haven't really sleep well the last 3 days because I keep waking up to check on him and make sure he's breathing alright. Ive taken him in a steamy shower with me and that has helped the congestion a little, but only temporarily. I tried the little rubber squeegee aspirator and that didn't work well. I have another nasal aspirator that I just ordered online where you put it in your mouth and suck to get the mucus out (which seems gross, but the ratings were good and said it worked well). Anyway, should I be concerned? I'm kind of an anxious over-protective-mama but it scares me that he's so young and having issues breathing through his nose.
