Am I crazy? I made an appointment for a elective ultrasound.

Im 9+3 I have history of 2 previous miscarriages. Im super anxious and worried about my baby being okay. Had a ultrasound at 8+1 baby was measuring right with a heartbeat. But just being cautious and worried due to my history, I thought getting an elective ultrasound would help ease my anxiety. I have 3 more weeks until my 12 week appointment. I will go crazy by then.

I feel you 100% i am lucky we are going private so we seen our baby at 8 weeks tomorrow at 10 weeks then at 12 weeks and every other appointment after then! You will be fine my dear x

Not crazy at all! I was the same way because of a previous miscarriage and my doctor knew how worried I was, so I had a ton of early ultrasounds and also a few electives until I could finally feel the baby moving on a regular basis and relaxed a little!  (had one at 5 weeks, 7 weeks, 10 weeks, 14 weeks, 18 weeks, etc. 😂)

Girl get that ultrasound! I wish I was way more vocal with ultrasounds and readings with my second daughter because I almost lost her due to dr not checking me and taking my pain into consideration.

With my first, I went every month to get an elective ultrasound. It was so amazing to see how my baby changed in such a short time in between! You are definitely not crazy!

Better than faking a medical crisis and going to the ER like I've seen a few times here. I commend you for taking responsibility and paying for your elective ultrasounds to be done in an appropriate place and setting!!! Congrats and I hope all is well!

I'm the same way. I'm 10 weeks today but had 2 ultrasounds during my 9th week because I thought something was off. Totally eased my mind. Now I have to get through a couple weeks for my next appointment. I've had losses too 1 being a stillbirth so I know your concern. Checking on baby is not crazy...your mama instincts are just kicking in.

I do private scans as well since my ob doesn’t consider me “high risk” when ever I feel worried I just book a appt and go so her. It helps ease my mind.

Girl, I'm 6 weeks with my 1st pregnancy, it took us 11 months to get pregnant and my 1st ultrasound isn't until the 9th and I'm losing my mind. You're not crazy, just a concerned momma.
