Update: so I called the office this morning, I had to talk to the MA 🙄. She said the referral was approved by insurance the day after Christmas and she’ll send it over to the other place. She said since I have HMO insurance it takes a while to get the referrals. I do understand HMO and PPO are different but why is it if my primary dr puts in a referral it goes through within a day or 2. I just don’t understand. I’m so ready for this to be over.

I'm so ready for this pregnancy to be over, not because I'm uncomfortable or anything like that. I'm just so sick of my doctor's office. My mid wives are amazing and they are the reason why I stayed however the rest of the staff especially the MA aren't so good. I've been waiting to set up my growth scan for 2 weeks (the midwife wanted me to have it done before my apt that's coming up this week), the ma never put in the referral for me to get one. This is the 3rd time she's done this. I really want to say something at my next appointment but I honestly don't know if it will be worth it.

I went to this office my last pregnancy and didn't have this problem, then ma at the time put referrals in right away.
