Is it low self-esteem?
Is it normal to put yourself down after you made a mistake? I’ve been doing this lately, I would feel really bad for a long period of time after I make a mistake. Yesterday was my parents anniversary celebration and while giving a tribute to them I messed up and tripped over my words in front of a room of 100 plus people. It was so bad I had to start over and then everything went smoothly. But for some reason from that moment on I fell really down, for the remainder of the celebration until now. Idk what this is or why I’m so hard on myself. Has anyone ever felt this way before? I know I will eventually get over it. But I think it is not normal to feel the way I do. I’m avoiding my parents and siblings because I don’t want to hear any mention of my mess up.
