Did you go back to work after you had your glucose test (2hr one)

My glucose test is scheduled for a few weeks from now. It's a 2 hour test and I'm not allowed to eat anything from midnight the night before until about 11am when it's over. I've heard a lot of people say they were sick after or that they crashed from the sugar. I'm wondering if I should take a full sick day or just a half day and go in to work right after.

Yeah after the 3 hour test I vegged out on food and passed out. If you have the time I’d take the whole day.

I think I would take a half a day. If you are in a nice room with a recliner. I would bring a blanket and just relax and try to catch a nap then I would gran a nice bite to eat afterward and head to work. But I wouldnt think it would hinder you from going to work.

The 3 hour test I did made me really sick and exhausted for the rest of the day. But with the one hour test I was fine. The 2 hour one might be somewhere in between- I think you’ll be able to tough out a half day of work though, you might just feel yucky.
