Ladies please help

I’m so scared. Idk what could be the cause but for some reason I am only 7 dpo yesterday I had a red spec of blood in my cm and today it is even more blood. Could this be a period or a more serious sign of something going wrong. I don’t think I’m pregnant this month as my period is 8 days away but I am a hypochondriac so I am now scared please give me advice it is not even when I wipe this haooens it was only when I went to check my cm. (TMI I’m sorry)
