Suddenly single mum?

Has anyone done this alone? I found out today my other half was unfaithful, not for the first time. We are engaged, and own a house together.
I honestly don't know how I would raise a baby on my own, financially or otherwise. I feel numb.
Im due in five weeks and really don't know what to do.

This happened to my mother when she was pregnant with me. If you have any family that would be willing to take you in, that’s a really good option. What you’ll want more than anything is family support while going through this. If not family, maybe close friends. If that’s just not an option, I’d recommend looking into any possible cost saving options and putting in for WIC and EBT for when you’re on maternity leave immediately after baby. I am so so sorry you’re going through this.

I'd break off the engagement and relationship. If you can't afford to buy him out of the house and live in it with your child and he can't do the same then you sell the house and split whatever profit there is. Come up with a coparenting plan and when bebe gets her go through legal channels to set up visitation, custody, and child support.
