I am A- and the only difference is you get a shot at 28 weeks and at birth. This was our announcement. :)

I have O- blood too. The only thing different from my experience is you get the shot in the butt. Nothing else.. but 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s no big deal whatsoever. Around 30 weeks you’ll have to get a shot in your ass so the baby doesn’t have it but it’s nothing. You’ll get the same shot with any other pregnancies.

I am too. First pregnancy was fine, I bled quite a lot throughout that pregnancy, so had to have an anti D injection every time that happened and then one once Baby was here I got another one.
This pregnancy I’ve had no injections yet. Will get one at 28 wks and then when baby is born.

I have A- and like what others are saying, you just get a shot around 28 weeks normally. But I had some spotting around 7 weeks and they decided to give it to me then instead. Im 15 weeks now!

I have O- blood type as well. I had to get an extra blood test at the hospital at 28 weeks and an RohGam injection at the hospital the following day. It was really not a big deal and I had no complications with my pregnancy. I’m in Ontario, Canada so the procedures may be different in other areas.

I'm O- at 33 weeks now. I've had the anti D injection a few times - bleeding and knocks to belly had me have it more than the usual time at 28 weeks to be on safe side. If baby is not O- you'll have to have it within 72 hours of baby being born. Otherwise, no difference x

Definitely research the rhogam before consenting to it. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be and I know so many people personally injured by it.
