Needing advice - postpartum rhinitis

Needing advice, a bit long but please read. I am 5 months postpartum with my 2nd child. During my 1st pregnancy, I started having pregnancy rhinitis about 35 weeks up til I gave birth. Went away almost immediately. Come my 2nd pregnancy, it hit as soon as the third trimester hit, and it STILL has not gone away. I am exclusively pumping. I’m not sure if that has something to do with it, I did my first pregnancy too and it still stopped immediately.

I’m constantly feeling like my nose isn’t fully open like “normal”, I’m still breathing fine, but I just feel more forceful when I breathe compared to normal. It gets ten times worse at night to where I breath with my mouth open and I’m not snoring but I am breathing super hard, therefore when I wake up my throats sore 😞 also constantly wakes my husband up it’s so loud which is making me sleep on the couch more.

I’ve been to the dr, he wanted to try a nasal steroid before sending me to an ENT specialist. I’ve been on it 2 weeks with no changes, at all. 😭😭😭

Things I’ve tried:

Humidifier

Every type of essential oil in a diffuser

Vick’s

Rinsing my nose out/taking hot showers at night

Sitting up right in a chair sleeping, didn’t work. Just hurt worse.

I’m at a loss of what to do, trying to avoid seeing a specialist. Has anyone else had this issue? What else have you tried that worked? Please help a girl out 😭😭
