Second time moms: are you planning to have a baby shower or sprinkle?

I’m just curious what everyone else does!
Our kids will only be 2.5 years age difference. We still have basically all of the essentials except that we’ll need a second car seat and a gazillion diapers. 
Is it tacky to have a sprinkle/shower? Will people *really* abide the “no gifts” request if we want to have a small celebration?

We’re having a girl (already have a boy) so we’re gonna have one but just a sprinkle. Less people more family and very close friends I made a registry for convenience

Nope. My son turns 3 Sunday. We saved literally everything. My dads buying baby furniture because he did with our first. All we need are car seats. We order diapers on amazon and spend $30-40 a month which is cheap. No need to be showered or sprinkled with gifts. We’ll have a party after for everyone to meet the new guy once he’s here.

Not planning on it. I had 2 nice showers for my son and I don’t want people thinking they have to shower me again or spend any money or anything when I already did it once.

We are doing just a diaper party. Food and yard games and just hanging out with friends and family. People can bring diapers/wipes or nothing at all.

I had a shower with my son in 2016. I'm due with my daughter April 29 and we're still trying to decide between a sprinkle or a Welcome Home party. We kept almost everything from my son but we're in the same boat as you with needing diapers, a new car seat, and a couple other things. We're leaning towards having the Welcome Home Party where people will come meet the baby a month or two after she's born.  We'll have it at home with people popping in throughout the day so it doesn't get too overwhelming for me or the new baby

I don’t want one haha my daughter will be almost 19 months when I have the second and I just feel odd getting one. 
I think I might just have a family celebration for the baby- we have lots of what we need but my sister thinks I’m crazy for not wanting one

I think a sprinkle is ok if other people decide to throw it. I wouldn't plan another party. We still have everything. All I needed to buy was boy sheets and swaddles

I’m having twins this go around, and I’ve had more people offer to throw me a shower this time than I did with my daughter almost 3 years ago! I don’t find it rude, especially if you aren’t throwing yourself the shower.

I just had a baby boy January 2019 and I'm having another boy in April. I don't really want to have another party because we have everything already but my husband and our friends say this baby needs to be celebrated with a party as well. I agreed to having a diaper party but I feel like there's not enough time to plan something before April.
