Guys and periods

I posted this because this actually happened to me when I stayed the night at my boyfriends friends house and I woke up covered in period blood.it was all over me and all over the bed. 

The night before they had a huge bunko party and they meant to go home but the owner of the house is a cop and everyone was too drunk to drive home so he was like "nobody leaves until they are sober" I went to bed before everyone else because they were playing video games in the living room drunk off their butts( I wasn't drunk I was just tired) . His friend offered his room to me to lay down in so I went to sleep. I woke up smooshed against the wall by my boyfriend, and next to him was all 3 of his friends. And I was covered in blood. I was the first to wake up completely horrified of the humiliation to come. Soon they all woke up and I started aplogizing I was like " I'm so sorry I didn't know my period was gonna come today" and he was like it's fine really you can't control that it's a bodily function. I got up to go to the bathroom to try to clean myself up as best as possible, they were all understanding and they didn't even act like it was a big deal. My boyfriend had his friend take us to a store so I could get what I needed. One guy stayed and washed the sheets after I offered to do it myself. He just told me  again that it wasn't a big deal. I asked him why he wasn't grossed out that I bled all over his bed. He just told me he lived with a girl before and he knows it can happen at any time and he's woke up with his girlfriend like that. I don't know if my boyfriend and his friends are just really good guys or what. I figured they'd be absolutely disgusted with me when they woke up.
