Did you throw up during labor?

For those of you had vaginal births, did you throw up before you had to push?

A friend of mine said that she threw up right before she was suppose to push and it is a sign that baby is really to come out.

Well I was in labor for 36hours and after 2 hours of pushing my doc said I needed a c-section. As they were wheeling me into surgery I started to throw up. My friend believes that I was told to push too early so I want to see if this theory is true!
