What Doctor?

I am 17 and I just found out I was pregnant. I haven't told my parents or my fiancé's parents either. I currently don't have insurance. I don't know where to star about getting insurance or even what Doctor to go to. I wanted to get blood test to confirm before we told anybody including parents but I have to have a parent because I'm underage. What do I do?

You can get a test done at Planned Parenthood for free and without your parents. And for insurance applying for Medicaid would be your best bet.

Apply for Medicaid as soon as possible. Took about two and a half months to get my Medicaid card, and we had already paid about 1000$ in Medical bills for appointments up until then waiting to be approved. So definitely apply ASAP. They didn't reimburse us so that was 1000 down the drain, for 4 appointments.

If you are pregnant you don't need a parent you are consider an adult due to the fact that you're a parent yourself. I don't know what to tell you about the insurance but good luck. And congratulations on your bundle of joy.

Look for a crisis pregnancy center near you. They can do a pregnancy test, and an ultrasound! They can also refer you to local resources

Is there a clinic you can go to in your area ? Also eventually you'll need to see an obgyn. But if you can go to a clinic I would do that for the testing and I would look up Medicare in your area to provide you with insurance.
