Girl or boy name??

I love the name Rio for our baby girl, but recently I had someone make a comment that it sounded more like a boy name. I know a lot of older people think of Rio Ferdinand, but I always thought of it more as a girl name like in the Duran Duran song🤷🏼‍♀️ Also if anyone has middle name suggestions that go with Rio, we are stumped!
