Baby’s teething ?

My baby is 10 weeks old and we think he’s teething however when we opened his mouth we saw white on his gums but it looks like his teeth are pushing out instead of down if that makes sense is that normal?

It looks normal to me and I honestly don’t think his teeth will come in anytime soon and wouldn’t worry about them popping through the wrong way. My youngest looked like that for a while and didn’t get his first tooth until 10 months old.

Are you sure those are teeth and not thrush? 10 weeks is really early and normally the bottoms come in first. I'd call the pediatrician to be safe.

It’s a developmental milestone to bring things to their mouth and explore them. Happens around 12 weeks. I see parents think it’s teething a lot. That comes more around 6 months. Babies gums are perfectly normal. I recommend reading up on milestones! It’ll make life less of a mystery during the first year or two.

That looks odd to me, but I only have one baby mouth to reference lol. Are you sure it's not milk buildup or something like that in the surface of his gums?

Its teeth. And thats normal that top teeth do that. They move around quite a bit before they fully pop through. His teeth may go back up ya never know. But for top teeth thats normal dont worry

Those are definitely teeth. My little girl had one come through last week in the same spot and is waiting for the other. Looks identical to her mouth.

My sons looked like that for months. And his first teeth came in at 9 months. Actually his bottom ones ended up coming in a whole month before his top ones and they looked just like that.

My daughters look like this for awhile but her bottom are coming in first. They can have “teeth buds” for awhile before they actually rupture. They should come in normally.
